Hello and welcome to Volksblogen. My name is Chris Neuman and I’m an automotive marketing manager and freelance designer living in metro-west Boston.

I’ve had a passion for german automobiles for as long as I can remember. This is where I post my opinions, observations and links I find interesting about the german automotive industry.

I’ve owned more VW’s in my life than any other car. I currently own a fantastic fifth generation (MKV) GTI with the incredible DSG dual clutch gearbox. My dream VW is the 2012 Golf R. Unfortunately for the U.S., the DSG transmission won’t be available.
